Who I Am

I am Nick Floratos, the founder and lead travel designer behind Asteri Travel, a boutique studio committed to creating intentional, beautifully curated journeys. My love for travel began early, shaped by long road trips with my dad and brothers that stretched across 10–15 states at a time. Those hours on the road sparked a fascination with maps, pacing, and the quiet thrill of discovering places most people miss.

Today, I have traveled through 35 U.S. states and six countries (with many more ahead), designing dozens of multi-stop itineraries ranging from 4-day escapes to 14-day cross-country journeys. What draws me to planning is the pursuit of hidden gems — the places, moments, and opportunities that transform a trip into something unforgettable. My logical, thorough, and detail-oriented approach ensures that once-in-a-lifetime experiences are not only possible, but seamless.

While I personally love incorporating professional sports into my travels, I am versatile and deeply knowledgeable across a wide range of travel styles — from relaxed coastal itineraries to fast-paced city explorations, immersive cultural journeys, national park adventures, and elevated food-driven routes. Every trip I design is tailored intentionally to the traveler, reflecting their rhythm, preferences, and sense of wonder.
